I'm so Fancy!

"Can't you taste this gold!"

Iggy Azalea has created 90's gold!
Mardi Gras 2014 has marked the release of the music video for "Fancy", a collaboration of Azalea and Charli XCX.
The video is a tribute to the classic cult film, Clueless which is a very accurate representation of fashion during the 90's. The tribute is nothing out of the ordinary for XCX who's everyday look mimics that of the 90's. Iggy on the other hand is beautifully portrayed as my teenage heroine Cher Horowitz.  We can assume that XCX plays a part in this video as, Tai the new girl in Clueless who with help from Cher becomes part of the relevant crowd within the hierarchy of a high school.

This pop song goes great with the world of Clueless. Many have become so obsessed with this lately.
Let's face it, we are the 90's! The past is back to haunt us for good. So keep the crop tops, high waisted everything, and platforms coming ladies! Iggy and XCX have set the trend farther back. I can't wait to see those outrageous colors and hats because of how dominant the 90's influence has hit us.

Guys also need to step their game up and go back to that adorable 90's skater, college student, and grunge look! I for one am tired of the overplayed "vintage hipster" style with those annoying beards and mustaches. It's like prohibition happened for a reason(to rid the world of the bum drunk man facial hair). I'm so tired of oxfords and suspenders. None of these guys look like they can hold their own in a party fight while hip-hop plays in the background (i.e. Rolling with the Homies)
It may just be my preference to the west coast and it's culture but I will take a firm stand when I say,
"EWW, AS IF!"
to guys with facial grooming that belong in the 1890s.

Everyone take notes because this is fashion, the only important lesson in life
